Joseph Parsons presents a fun-filled hour of stand up comedy about the joys of
sport and the joys of homosexuality. As a young, chubby, gay sports fan in
the 90's and 00's, Parsons always wanted to be an elite athlete. He
instead joined a choir because it required less movement and there was a
school trip to Venice. However, his love for sport has always remained. So
what's sport's relationship with him? In the wake of recent events, where
UEFA banned the illumination of the rainbow flag on a German stadium and
Hungary's recent law changes stop LGBTQ visibility in schools and on TV,
where do the values of big sporting bodies and brands really lie? As a
natural story teller, Parsons promises a passionate hour of comedy that
tackles subjects about body image, being gay, loving sport and hope for a
brighter future. "Very high energy, well-written material" - The Stand
